In its fifth year, the Unforgettable Christmas Experience is an annual holiday initiative to support and empower East Harris County high school students. Students apply and are selected based on need, community service and leadership.
The deserving high school students enjoyed cheering on the UH Cougars during a basketball game, participated in a campus tour at the University of Houston and attended a financial literacy class. The program ended with a shopping spree at a local retailer where students put their financial education to the test. With the help of our partners, we were able to support 100 students this year. This initiative was generously supported by the University of Houston Office of Governmental Relations, UH Athletics, Reliant, Amazon, Community Health Choice, Frost Bank, Harris County Precinct 2, McDonalds, and Hankin Patent Law Firm.
