ABOUT EHCEC
Rooted in the region.
Focused on possibility.
East Harris County Empowerment Council is a regional development organization connecting people, organizations, businesses, and institutions to the relationships, resources, and opportunities that help our region thrive.
OUR PURPOSE
A clear mission. A shared vision.
OUR MISSION
EHCEC exists to improve the quality of life through innovative, sustainable programs and services that empower men, women, and youth to achieve their full potential.
OUR VISION
To make East Harris County the best place to live, learn, work and play.
OUR STORY
Local commitment. Regional possibility.
Founded in 2008 by Terence Narcisse, EHCEC grew from a commitment to expand opportunity close to home. That commitment continues through programs, partnerships, and regional collaboration that connect people to resources and help communities shape their future.
Our work brings together residents, schools, nonprofits, businesses, faith communities, and public institutions. By listening to local priorities and connecting the right partners, we help turn shared concerns into coordinated action.
