Eligibility Requirements
Residents Must Live In
Atascocita/Summerwood, Baytown, Channelview, Crosby, Fall Creek, Fifth Ward, Galena Park, Highlands, Huffman, Humble, Jacinto City, North Shore, Pleasantville, and Sheldon are all locations in Northeast Harris County and East Houston area.
Attendance
Our program allows only one missed class. Regular attendance is essential for keeping up with the course material.
Participation
Participation is key to the success of our program. We encourage active engagement in every session, as it enhances learning and understanding. Students are expected to contribute to discussions, collaborate with peers, and actively participate in all activities
Project
Students will create a brochure about a health topic they studied in class. This project helps them learn more about an issue they care about and share that knowledge with their community.

About the Course
Week 1: Program Orientation & SDOH
