This luncheon will launch the Port Houston Climate Justice Zone, an environmental justice initiative impacting 11 communities, including six managed by the East Harris County Empowerment Council. We aim to update key stakeholders on the progress of the project since February 2024, share funding opportunities, and engage in discussions about next steps for environmental justice in our region.
