The Unforgettable Holiday Experience is a unique initiative aimed at providing 11th-grade students in East Harris County with enriching opportunities. This program includes a college tour, money management class, and more!

Who can apply for the program?
To apply, you must be a current 11th-grade student and reside in East Harris County. You must also be registered in one of the following school districts: Channelview ISD, Crosby ISD, Galena Park ISD, or Sheldon ISD.
Can I submit more than one application?
No, you may only submit one application per student, and you must complete the student section of the application yourself. Your parent or guardian must be present to sign the consent section at the end.
What identification do I need to provide?
You will need to upload your most recent school photo ID for the 2023-2024 school year.
When is the application deadline?
The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, Dec 2 at 5 pm. Late submissions will not be considered.
Can I apply if I am not in 11th grade?
Currently, the program is exclusively for 11th-grade students. We encourage you to check back for future opportunities.
Are there any residency requirements?
Yes, you must live and attend school in one of the following ZIP codes: 77532, 77530, 77044, 77015, 77029, 77547, or 77049.
Is attendance at events mandatory for participation?
Yes, to participate in the shopping spree, you must attend all other Unforgettable Holiday Experience events hosted by the East Harris County Empowerment Council.
What activities are included in the Unforgettable Holiday Experience?
The Unforgettable Holiday Experience includes activities such as:

What are the behavior expectations during the event?
During the event, students must show respectful behavior at all times, including being polite to peers and staff and following all instructions. EHCEC does not tolerate bullying or disruptive behavior and reserves the right to deny participation to any student based on inappropriate conduct.
Do I need to be nominated to apply for the Unforgettable Holiday Experience?
Yes, students must be nominated by a school administrator, teacher, or coordinator to apply for the program.
